INFORMATION & BACKGROUND
Today, the market is dominated by hair from various parts of Asia; the largest players are China and India with their Temple hair.
INDIA
The story began early in India where young women and men had their hair shaved off outside temples and offered to the god Vishnu in the hope of good Karma. This tradition has continued and the temples have developed a system that allows them to collect about 5 tons of hair daily in India alone. The term Indian hair also includes neighboring countries where the population has similar hair quality to Indians. The temple's profit from selling the hair goes to providing food, education, and more for the temple's orphaned children.
Young women in India have a tradition of sacrificing their hair on their wedding day, and until then, they have never cut or dyed their hair. This is so-called "Temple hair" which often maintains a very high quality. For many years, Italian companies have bought all Indian hair and produced high-quality extensions that are then sold to Europe and the USA, who pay a high price for the final product. However, in recent years, Italian companies have faced strong competition from companies selling Asian hair at much lower prices, which has forced them to take measures that have lowered quality and thus also the price. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to find 100% Indian hair; most of it is mixed with Asian hair to keep prices down.
CHINA – ASIA
China is currently the largest player in the market. With modern factories, low labor costs, and unlimited resources, China can deliver tons of extensions every month. Here, young people visit the factories to sell their hair and get money for food and studies. Asian hair includes all countries that have Asian hair quality; most countries sell their hair to Chinese companies that produce extensions and then sell them to Europe and the USA.
China is often associated with very poor quality, and many times, extensions from China can be unusable after only 2 weeks of use, so it is incredibly important to buy hair from well-known brands with proven quality. The most important factors are to use only healthy hair and treat it as gently as possible when producing extensions. This is where many companies with limited resources and poor knowledge fail. In recent years, several leading players in China have started sourcing hair from India, Europe, and Brazil to be able to offer even higher quality.
EUROPE
European hair is rare but perfectly suited for Scandinavians; the hair blends naturally with your own hair and provides a natural result. This hair usually comes from South and Eastern European countries. European hair is more expensive because it is rare and there are limited hair donors with good quality. Most people have treated hair that is already damaged and therefore unsuitable for extensions. Poze hair extensions offer their Premium hair with European quality that you can feel secure with.

SYNTHETIC HAIR
With synthetic hair, you can be quite sure that the quality is often the same; there are different types of synthetic materials, and the best option is Synthetic Fiber. Synthetic is a good alternative for those who want long hair with long-lasting shine at an affordable price.
REMY HAIR
The term Remy has become a kind of quality seal that many companies use. The word means that all hair strands are aligned in the same direction, meaning all the tips of the hair lie downwards. When all strands are aligned, there is less friction in the hair when brushing, which is due to the cuticle layers facing the right direction, and this reduces the friction that makes the hair tangled. Remy hair therefore means less tangling but not necessarily better hair quality.
THE TREATMENT PROCESS
The hair that arrives is collected in large sacks or baskets. Then, the hair is sorted by length and quality. Once this is done, the hair is cleaned in large purification baths. This step in the process is very important and requires the right hygiene products and equipment. After the purification bath, the hair is placed in a bleaching bath, which bleaches the hair before it is dyed with textile dye in large containers. Finally, the hair is treated with conditioning products, and then adapted to the different extension methods available on the market today.
EXTENSIONS METHODS
Today, there are several different methods for hair extensions, with new ones constantly emerging. The most popular are Clip & Go Extensions, which you can attach and remove yourself, and Keratin Extensions, which is a permanent hair extension method. There are also Tape On, Weft Hair, and Micro Ring extensions. All methods are well-suited for different needs and hair qualities.

POZE HAIR EXTENSIONS
Poze is a brand that stands for quality, where only the finest hair from various parts of Asia and Europe is collected and then treated with a gentle and very advanced technique in modern laboratories. During the meticulous process, the hair undergoes several nourishing treatments that strengthen the hair and preserve its protective layer called the cuticle. In many other factories, aggressive treatment processes are applied that cause the cuticle to completely disappear, resulting in brittle and dry hair extensions that do not last very long.
